With the start of the 2020-2021 school year behind us, the Christa McAuliffe School PTO would like to thank the amazing staff and teachers who have been tireless in their efforts to provide an effective and engaging learning environment in a remote-teaching setting! The end of the 2019-2020 school year was new to all of us and the teachers did a wonderful job facing these continued challenges head on into the 2020-2021 school year! You make us all proud!
As for fundraisers… At this time we still are not certain the extent of fundraising we will be able to do. We do plan on continuing with the annual wreath sale so keep an eye out for more information coming soon! We are prepared to pivot as needed and support our students and teachers the best that we can! With that said, please consider making a donation to the PTO. Donations can be made online. Funds are necessary to help offset the cost of field trips (in this case, virtual) classroom supplies, enrichment activities and many community events. The CMS PTO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization; all donations are tax deductible.
We wish the entire CMS community a healthy and happy fall and hope everyone stays Caring, Motivated, and Safe! We look forward to seeing everyone (hopefully in person) as soon as it is safe!
